Spent the weekend cleaning up a few things around here. Nothing exciting, just maintenance — a squeaky hinge, a drawer that stuck, a light switch that needed tightening.
None of it was urgent. All of it had been mildly annoying for months. There's a particular kind of relief in finally dealing with the small stuff that's been quietly bothering you.
Next up is probably the fence, which has been leaning a little more every year. Not this weekend, though.
